YA Novels: Books for Everyone

I have an issue with adults who work to avoid YA literature simply because it’s literature that is marketed specifically to young adults.  YA literature has so much to offer everyone – not just kids!  Not only is YA a medium that allows parents and children to find common ground over a shared reading experience; it is also full of challenging themes and topics that young adults need to be discussing.  YA literature presents these difficult topics in an easily accessible platform so that parents and children alike will have scenarios to utilize for discussion when the time is appropriate.  Following is a list of 50 of my all-time favorite YA titles for everyone!
